COLLEGE PROJECT: BUDGET
Directions: Figure out the best that you can how much it will cost you to get your degree. You need to come up with a grand total that is realistic to where you are right now. This means that you can’t assume you will get scholarship money unless you already have won/received some. This activity is to help you grasp how much all of this actually costs and to hopefully encourage you to find alternative ways to pay for your education to eliminate the amount of debt you or your parents take on. “Knowledge is Power”
Part 1: Fill out “How much will your education cost.” You must fill out every calculation even if your parents are paying for it! Show calculations or describe how you came up with each figure on a separate piece of paper.
GRADING:
College Budget Worksheet: 64 points (2 point per question)
Budget Calculation Explanation: 32 points (1 point per question)
Neatness (2 points)
Total Points: 100
BE SURE TO PUT SOMETHING IN EACH BLANK, EVEN IF IT IS JUST A ZERO. ALSO BE SURE TO KEEP TRACK OF YOUR EXPLANATION. FEEL FREE TO PRINT ANY CHARTS OR DIAGRAMS TO PUT IN THIS SECTION OF YOUR BINDER.
